The U.S Army board of the welfare department has made the new rules for the expatriates in war zones, that request for a work leave to be applied by their loved ones/friends/relatives for the reasons below. Health Leave: The health leave is the visit whereby an expatriate/soldier under the U.S Army Organization is not in Good health and his loved ones/friends/relatives may need him home for proper treatment. Romantic vacation: when military personnel need to spend time away from service to spend some time with a loved one(there has to be an exclusive reason for it to be granted)

Marital Leave: This leave is whereby the Government gives an expatriate/soldier the opportunity to leave the war zone to meet up with their fiancee for marriage purposes.

You must be informed that emergency leaves are not free of charge unless there is a life-threatening emergency.
You are thereby expected to go through the leave categories and make your choice.

Timelines & Service Levels

  • Routine leave: 3–14 working days, dependent on mission schedule and approvals.

  • Compassionate / medical leave: expedited review within 24–72 hours (subject to verification).

  • Emergency leave: immediate escalation pathway; timeline depends on verification and movement feasibility.
    Note: Timelines vary by theatre, local movement restrictions and client policy.

EMERGENCY LEAVE CATEGORIES:

(A) 3 WEEK LEAVE DURATION
(B) 4 WEEKS LEAVE DURATION
(C) 2 MONTHS LEAVE DURATION
(D) SIX MONTHS (HONEYMOON LEAVE) LEAVE DURATION

The above leave Duration are made available for you to choose and after you choose we would tell you the fee involved for that particular choice-send payment according to choice made for your partner depending on your capability and expected time that you will want him to spend with you.

Operational Workflow (typical)

  1. Request initiation: Authorized requester (service member, unit admin, or authorised family liaison per client policy) submits a leave application through the secure portal or to the local personnel office.

  2. Preliminary validation: Personnel records, eligibility and outstanding obligations are verified. Medical or mission-critical constraints are flagged.

  3. Command review: The nominated approving authority reviews the request in line with standing orders, operational tempo and mission risk.

  4. Decision & notification: Approval, deferment or denial is recorded in the portal; authorised family liaisons receive a controlled notification.

  5. Logistics coordination: If approved, Maridian coordinates travel, movement orders and handover arrangements with logistics and operations teams.

  6. Reintegration: After return, the member completes any required debriefs, medical checks and rostering updates.

Documentation & Inputs Required

  • Formal leave request form (digital or paper) including reason and proposed dates.

  • Personnel file / ID and service record verification.

  • Medical clearance or medical documentation (if health-related).

  • Emergency contact / family liaison authorisation (signed / recorded per client rules).

  • Any mission- or equipment-related handover notes required by the unit.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Client command: final authority to approve or deny leave per regulations.

  • Maridian: administers portal, performs validation, coordinates logistics, and provides family-liaison updates under client direction.

  • Service member: provides accurate documentation and follows handover and reintegration processes.
